Welcome to the Eufaula City Schools

Established in 1872, Eufaula City Schools is the oldest city school district in Alabama and is the heartbeat of this beautiful southeast Alabama city.  Eufaula City Schools is a progressive district providing many academic, enrichment, and technical opportunities for students and teachers while maintaining the values and traditions of the best in public schools.  We are comprised of a Pre-K through 2 primary school, a 3 through 5 elementary school,  a 6-8 middle school, and a 9-12 high school.  Both elementary schools and the middle school are very involved in the Alabama Reading Initiative.  Eufaula, Alabama, is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula which covers 46,000 acres with 640 miles of shoreline.  Eufaula is 84 miles from Montgomery, Alabama; 47 miles from Columbus, Georgia; 155 miles from Atlanta, Georgia; and 140 miles from Panama City Beach, Florida.
